Fostering

I have been fostering for CAWS (Community Animal Welfare Society) for four years. I Started in 2020 when my beloved dog Twinkie died. I have fostered 4 CAWS dogs who have found their forever homes, and I am currently fostering 2 CAWS dogs still in my care. Even though it may seem fun and lovely to have two dogs on top of the one I already have, it is still very draining and challenging at times. When I have to wake up early to clean up an accident, the old man had or when I have to train Zinnia's Reactivity to be less problematic. It takes a toll on me, but I still feel a moral obligation to have them till they either get adopted or pass over the rainbow bridge. If you are looking for a forever dog, have time and patience to spare, and need a loving pup in your house, I urge you to get a rescue. Despite their traumatic background, they are some of the spunkiest dogs you will ever meet.

If you want a forever friend who will give you unconditional love and support, go to CAWS.org to find your new four-legged friend!
